Cleaning Trinity
We’ve reached the time of year wherein I drive home with my seat warmer on in the car - not because it is cold, but because my bones are weary from long days of baking. Love that for me.
Here’s what else is going on:
Thanksgiving orders close next Monday at 6 pm. We just rolled a bit over 2,000 orders earlier this afternoon. Jeanne doesn’t know this yet, so when you hear yelling…you know she’s read this post.
We are going to get ourselves together to decorate for the holidays this weekend. We aren’t really psychologically ready because Thanksgiving occupies all of our thoughts, but we have so much cute stuff for Christmas. Plus retail culture basically mandates that you decorate for Christmas in the summer and mark it all down by December 1st, so we are already behind (sadly).
Our sign should be installed tomorrow at PJP West End and that is super exciting. Or at least a fair amount of exciting in exchange for just under $14,000.
I’m pretty sure you can fly to the Maldives and stay in one of those Kardashian-esque bungalows on the water for a week for $14,000. And that’s probably more exciting, but you can’t install it on a building facade for posterity.
And finally, Jeanne is well known for her love of a SOS pad. She includes them with bleach and razor blades in her cleaning trinity. They aren’t a stock item from any of our providers, so they have to be special ordered by the case. We were deep into a massive baking project today when a new case arrived and it totally energized Jeanne. Except then I lost her to scrubbing trays with fresh pads. Sounds right.
