Hardly Surprising
Just a year ago, we were wrapping up our final week at PJP Buttonwood before we rolled our belongings across the parking lot to PJP Nifong. A year ago today was our last Tuesday and in typical fashion for me, the countdown of the last week was very dramatic. In my own defense, moving is never easy. But I wish I could travel back in time and lean in and whisper: BEST DECISION EVER, SELF. (I do still have a very soft spot in my heart for the PJP Buttonwood space…just not the size of it, the light in it, or the enormous pothole immediately outside the front door.)
So here are some fun facts about the past year:
In the past year, we have processed 60,589 transactions. HOLY SMOKES.
Our top seller in those 60,589 transactions? White Chocolate Strawberry. HARDLY SURPRISING.
Rounding out the top five: Chicken Pot Pie, Chocolate Bourbon Pecan, Southern Pecan, and Dutch Apple. So wait, we are a dessert pie store with the second best seller as a savory pie? INTERESTING, NO?
We’ve sold 8,999 tarts. Do you know how much my OCD ABSOLUTELY HATES we missed 9,000 by just one three-inch tart? HURTS MY SOUL.
And we sold 3,474 uncategorized items. That means the item didn’t scan in properly or someone just typed in the price, which MAKES ME CRAZY. (Clearly one of those had to be a tart, right? Ahem. Never going to let that go.) My plan for tomorrow is to ensure that absolutely no records an uncategorized transaction for the remainder of 2020. SERIOUSLY.
