Just a week ago tonight, we were recovering from our walk through the belly of the Thanksgiving beast. And now, we are back to normal - or at least as normal for us. Here’s all the other stuff that has been happening:
We’ve spent the majority of this week working on merchandising both stores for Christmas. I realize this makes us at least five weeks behind everyone else, but we were Thanksgiving focused. Without question, one of the hardest parts of two stores is the carting merchandise around and making both stores look similar.
Actually, it may be the hardest part. The baking is way easier. The finding the gumption to do one store and then move it all around in the freezing cold. (And don’t even suggest that I just order the right stuff to the right store because I could never be that put together. I like to make things as hard as possible on us.)
And while Ellery and I did that, Jason pulled all manner of fun year-to-date statistics for me. Would you believe we’ve sold over 38,000 baby pies this year?
With a solid month left of 2022, Jason also posted the Christmas pre-order form for December 23rd and 24th. We will be pre-order only for those days (but the list is exceptionally more extensive than Thanksgiving).
You all are the first to know, but tomorrow we are posting tickets for a special December Epic Pie Tasting. It will be for a 10 pie kit, featuring the winner of each of the 10 pie tastings we did in 2022. Look for the link on our webpage mid-day.
