Niche Market
It’s time again to take a deep dive into our Google analytics to see which keyword searches landed visitors on the World Pie Domination blog site. As always, the results never fail to disappoint:
Buy Me A Pie: Welp, we will 100% sell you a pie.
Ology Hosting Sign Up: Jeanne writes Jeanne-ology when the mood strikes her. But the mood to host something never strikes her because she a true introvert.
My Money Don’t Jiggle Jiggle: This is a TikTok sound. On Mother’s Day, we convinced Jeanne that dancing to this song would be a cuter tribute to the holiday than an overused Pinterest graphic. We had no idea that literally thousands of people would end up watching our sub-par skills. Or that the song would be stuck in our heads for days.
Jean’s Restaurant Supply: Jeanne loves a restaurant supply store, though if she stocked a store it would likely just be cleaning supplies.
Witzige Blogs: I have no idea what a witzige is, but I bet it is difficult to just write blog posts about witziges. That’s a niche market.
Donuts, Pies & More: We do get calls asking if we make donuts and more. But this is just a pie show.
The Kroenke Group: They sent us a bill for .01 cents last week. And we wrote a check for .01 cents, even though that entire transaction probably cost $1.50 in terms of the paper check, the mail, and the deposit slip. But I’ve learned to pick your battles and those battles aren’t .01 battles.
Salad-ology: I don’t know anything about the ology of salad, but I do know that I miss the Hy-vee salad bar and I fully blame COVID for removing salad bars from society.
Full Circle Pies: Pies are usually circular because “colonial women used round pans to literally cut corners and stretch ingredients.” Google knows everything.
Food Handlers Card Columbia MO: Pre-COVID world, you had to visit the health department and watch a horrifying video of food service workers dipping their long hair into vats of soup and then take a test about proper food handling techniques. In a pandemic world, you can take the test online. I guess that balances out the salad bar deprivation.
