What We Didn't Receive
Well, in good news, Jeanne’s cellulitis remains fairly under control this evening. She’s starting to be fairly difficult, so my guess is that she’s on the mend. Even though her foot is bandaged and doesn’t hurt only when it is elevated, she suggested she return to PJP tomorrow so she “didn’t miss out on anything interesting”. I suggested no. I can only handle one stint through hospital admissions a week.
Here’s what else is going on:
We are less than a week away from our 9th birthday. I’m not normally one for marking a milestone, but nine years just hits different. The original plan was three PJPs by our 10th birthday, so we’ve got some work to do in the next 53 weeks.
Actually, in retrospect, that was a lot of bravado for a newly founded baby PJP in 2014. I respect it.
We do have a real estate broker in St. Louis though, so that’s a start.
Back at our current stores, PJP Nifong has been 80 degrees by the time we finish baking. Frankly, I’m afraid. to find out why. And PJP West has a massive pile of rice between the dumpster. Frankly, I’m afraid to find out why.
Our common area maintenance reconciliation for PJP Nifong arrived and it is more expensive than In the previous eight years. You’ll need to sit for this - it is FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS. This means that our share of the common area maintenance is $4,287 more dollars than we paid into the fund all year. Are you kidding me? Have you seen PJP Nifong’s parking lot? I would seriously wager there are 4,287 cigarette butts laying around out there. Or perhaps 4,287 pieces of trash flying around in the back of the building. But what I promise you we didn’t receive is $4,287 worth of extra maintenance. I’m just saying.
