Silent Stan Speaks...
So, Silent Stan has spoken - a little. Maybe more technically a grunt, or a slight veral acknowledgment that we are living beings interested in renting 3601 Buttonwood, Suite E. Here is what he (via a representative) said: they need a HVAC (heating and air conditioning) company "out to the center to get a summation report on the current HVAC." Once they have the summation report, they should have all the pieces they need to get us moving forward in our negotiations. It is apparently the "home stretch" of getting the lease signed.
WHAAAAAT? I bet if you dig through all that stuff you are currently storing in our proposed space, Stan, you would probably find the alleged summation report. And if there are three other businesses there in that center and they have heating and air conditioning, wouldn't it stand to reason that Suite E should easily have it as well? And while we are on the subject...WE LIVE IN MISSOURI. It could be 97 degrees at 8 am and 5 degrees by 3 pm ON THE SAME DAY. Why wasn't heating and air just put in the place in the first the place???????? To shorten the time frame, here is the summation report: WE NEED IT. Thanks.
Plan B is now in effect. Actually, it is Plan E. As in E-for-Elks. That's right...Christmas pie baking will be sponsored by the fine Elks and Columbia Benevolent Center on Elk Park Drive.
Here's the deal for holiday pie orders:
