A Few Things.
Well, 48 hours in and we haven't managed to hang our massively large #WorldPieDomination picture just yet. But here are some other things worth noting...
- Tomorrow is $5 Friday. All baby pies are $5 all day...no coupon needed. We aren't sure if we will by average-Friday-in-summer busy or HOLY-CRAP-BAKE-ALL-THE-THINGS-RIGHT-NOW busy...so I guess we will just have to wait and see.
- We've had several people stop by and reserve their seats for the Ikea Party Bus trip. If you are interested, please be sure to stop by soon...White Knight would like a party sized wad of cash in the next few weeks to secure the party bus with the most room for overstuffed blue Ikea bags.
- Just as we've settled into a comfortable summer routine, the fall semester soon begins and that means a change for us all. After looking at everyone's class schedules for this fall, it is pretty clear we will need to hire additional help. So, if you know anyone that might be a good fit for PJP...
- Both the August and September pie tasting events have officially sold out. Jeanne hesitates to plan an October event simply because October is an exceptionally busy month for us. I say let's squeeze in one more before November and December, when it is officially too busy for us to even think...much less plan out a pie tasting event. We'll see who wins the argument.
- And speaking of fall, we've begun to have some very preliminary Thanksgiving 2k16 discussions. And by preliminary, I mean Jeanne said to me that it will be Thanksgiving before we know it and I immediately demanded that she hand me a paper bag to start breathing into...
