I'm Sorry, Farahan K...

Oh my word...this post is super late tonight because I just spent an hour on Bluehost's help chat trying to figure out exactly why our Wordpress site hasn't worked for the past 24 hours.  And here is a public apology to Farahan K...mainly because I shouted in all caps for most of the conversation we just had.  But in my defense, don't tell me the only way to figure out how to make the site work is to read an article on the Bluehost website about how to make the site work.

In the end, Behind-The-Scenes-Tech-Guru Jason sensed I was getting ready to absolutely lose my mind and he logged in to the site and did one thing and fixed it (leaving Farahan K seriously relieved).  And true to my nature, I am now righteously indignant about support chats that respond in every way possible...except to actually explain the problem in English.  I'm also righteously indignant about technology and now I'm going to have to blog via carrier pigeon.

Which means I either need to a) find a company that hosts websites (even just plain boring Wordpress non-fancy sites that don't cost one million dollars to create) OR read up on gateway timeouts.  I feel like after the past hour, Farahan K would be happy with either...as long as I don't need online chat support again in the near future...
