Jeanne-ology: Or Else.
Hi There! Today is Thursday and Jeanne has been a hard one to wrangle this week. Fortunately, I locked her down to share some thoughts with you. Hold on to your hats…who know what she has on her mind. Enjoy! Rebecca

Hello Thursday Readers! Well, as you probably watched, we were voted off the Crime Scene Kitchen show last week. Watching the show made me feel more sad that we had to go. Of course, Rebecca did not watch but she felt sad as well. I guess our sadness was a result that our time together in Los Angeles was over with. Our adventure into the world of television was over. Our love of seeing and hearing Joel McHale was over and we would miss his brand of comedy. Sadness that it was going back to the grindstone of owning a business. We enjoyed being. on a stage lot and having hair and make-up done. Having food brought to our room and in general being pampered! It was a once in a lifetime opportunity for us and we will never forget it. (Rebecca editing to add: I can tell she’s a little salty in this review of things she misses, but she’s spot on. It is 100% more fun to have an assistant that brings you a cold La Croix when you ask instead of rolling into PJP at 2:30 am. Ahem.)
Many of the crazy things that happened while filming were never shown. Like the time I could not get the induction burner to turn on and Joel McHale had to help me out. Another time that Joel brought my favorite drink, Bailey’s Irish Cream, to our kitchen and we drank together while the show was filming. Or the time Curtis Stone kept trying to help me pronounce croquembouche and finally gave up and told me just to say a cone of puff pastry would be enough to describe the desert! (Rebecca editing to add: Well, to be fair to Curtis, she kept calling it a crackenbush. Also, there is a hashtag on Instagram of #bringbackrebeccaandjean and I would guess crackenbush has a lot to do with it.)
I learned something about myself being away on this adventure. I dreaded to go and did so because of Rebecca. How wrong I was, I enjoyed every minute! Coming home was an adjustment for both of us. No doubt we liked being on television! I would welcome the opportunity for Rebecca and I to have our own show. Reading comments from our viewers tells me they would like it too. Maybe we should start a call or write in campaign for Rebecca and I to get our own show. Maybe they could film us in our shop. There is abundant antics to fill each day. (Rebecca editing to add: A write-in campaign? I don’t think people mail letters like that any longer unless they cut all the individual letters out of a magazine and ominously suggest we have a show or else…and well, that would awkward.)
