Send Vitamin D
You would think I would have all sorts of updates from PJP, but honestly here’s the truth: I’ve been going there before the sun rises and leaving after the sun sets and baking literally ALL DAY. Actually, I probably need some Vitamin D supplements because the only sunlight I’ve seen is filtered through the front windows of PJP Nifong.
Doesn’t that whole paragraph make you want to be an entrepreneur?
Here’s what is going on from the trenches:
We are making 6,000 tarts this week. So yeah, that’s happening.
And we rented a U-Haul to deliver them all later this week. Starting tomorrow, we will have a massive storage container and a 20 foot U-Haul behind the store. I’m not certain if that is embarrassing or a solid goal of achievement.
It was almost difficult to find a U-Haul because UPS has rented so many to handle the influx of holiday packages. We are just adding to the truck space shortage with all of our shipping. We shipped 28 packages yesterday just to feel like we made some progress, but that will leave several hundred for before Christmas. (The last day to order for pre-holiday shipping or pickup is December 15th.)
Our holiday order form is now available online. We will keep it all pretty normal through the 21st. We will move down to an abbreviated menu for December 22, 23, and 24th.
Oh, and also, we will close early.at 2 pm on Christmas Eve. And hey, it might be sunny that day…Merry Christmas to me - I’LL GET DAYLIGHT. Cancel the Vitamin D, maybe?
