Live Look
We currently have several big projects at PJP that are leaving Jeanne and I excited, anxious, and distracted - but mostly anxious, because that is our preferred resting state. And sadly we are bound by various obligations to say NOTHING right now and to simply act like regular people on a regular day. (Which now that I think about it, we are never regular people and there is no regular day here. No wonder we are struggling so much.)
At any case, we will make a big announcement on our seventh birthday in April and that will share one big project. We can’t wait. In the interim, here is what is going on lately:
We are out of baby pies tins. Our manufacturer had a lag in production and by the time I realized the lag had finally hit us, we were down to 100 baby pie tins. That’s basically what we need for an average Monday. Currently our supply of tins is in Nashville, en route to PJP by Wednesday. So I have no idea what our baby pie plan is for tomorrow. Awesome.
In my panic regarding the tin shortage discovery, I visited five different stores in town to see if they stocked a similar pot pie size tin. We’ve had luck in the past, but none this time around. And each time I put a mask on to enter a store and took one off when leaving a store, I unknowingly nuzzled my one carat diamond earring out of my ear and by the time I got home…it was long gone. Sigh.
Though, I guess it is good we discovered all this before Easter. Easter is next weekend and that seems like it snuck right up on us. We STRONGLY recommend pie pre-order for Easter by using the form here.
We purchased a cooling rack from an individual, though we didn’t realize at the time it didn’t have wheels on it. We’ve basically shuffled it around inside PJP until someone couldn’t look it for another single day shoved in our new de facto laundry room and put it outside. My suggestion was to just throw it away and you know Jeanne did NOT TAKE KINDLY to my suggestion. She wants to add wheels to it by herself. If you’ve ever wondered about the differences between us, there you go.
Oh, and also, she’s intent on telling our new Alexa to “play coffeehouse everywhere over and over and don’t stop playing the coffeehouse for a long time”. Rarely does Alexa actually listen to this…in fact, she usually plays one song and then stops playing. I would guess it isn because she’s confused, but Jeanne is convinced it is because the government is listening in to see if we will tell Alexa to play coffeehouse again and again. Here’s a live look at her FBI agent:
