Us. And Buddy.

JP West End is officially one month old as of today - ONE MONTH. And honestly, it feels like a speedy 30 days, but also the longest 30 days you can ever imagine. I’ll need to refresh my memory before we open our next store, so here’s the most important thing from the last month: it’s been 24 business days, but 30 solid calendar days of work.

Here’s a few other things worth noting:

  1. It’s supposed to snow tomorrow. I CAN’T EVEN.

  2. National Pi(e) Day is on Monday. As the official sponsor, we can’t let you forget.

  3. Jason is deep into building a system that will make creating our morning baking schedule a little less subjective and a little more objective so that we aren’t the only two I allow to do it.

  4. Now that I think of it, we have to be the most high-tech small business bakery in America. I bet Carlos’ Bakery doesn’t have a custom designed baking schedule software and I bet that makes Buddy Valastro sad.

  5. You know what Buddy and I do have in common (and really all of us)? An impending flour shortage. Not even kidding you. Count global supply chain issues and plausible impacts of war among the topics I’m not well studied in, but WOOF, here we all are together. Just us. Oh, and Buddy.
